Sterling Announces Conversion to Waterborne Refinishing

Sterling Autobody Centers announced it will convert all of its shop locations to waterborne refinishing. The conversion will begin with the opening of Sterling’s new shop location in Fountain Valley, California, on November 3, 2008.
“This environmentally-sound decision to convert our locations from a solventborne system to a waterborne system enables us to provide our customers with the highest quality of repairs, while still protecting the environment,” said Tim Swift, Vice President of Procurement for Sterling. Swift added, “Waterborne technology is not only environmentally more responsible, but also safer for our employees.”
Sterling Autobody Centers’ is committed to protecting the environment by reducing hazardous waste and pollution in the neighborhoods in which they do business.
